Absense a Greek melodic death metal band, released their first EP, XV .
Influenced by bands like Machine Head, In Flames, Decapitated, and In Flames, the Athens-based group was formed in 2008 under the name Infernal Deception . They played numerous shows, and with lineup changes, they developed and defined their sound, ultimately deciding to rename the band.
Finally, this year the band shared unreleased music with fans, including their first music video for the track "Of Lies," which is part of the EP XV .
Absense is Nefeli Pischou (vocals) Dimitris Sakellaris (guitar/vocals), Ilias Krassas (guitar) Efthimis Mallios (bass) and Nodas Chatzopoulos (drums).
